World of Warcraft: Upcoming 'Midnight' Expansion to Introduce Player Housing

In celebration of World of Warcraft's 30th anniversary, Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the 'Midnight' expansion, slated for release in the summer of 2025. This expansion will introduce the highly anticipated player housing feature, fulfilling a request from fans that has persisted for over two decades. The housing system will enable players to acquire and personalize their own virtual homes within the game, decorating them with various items, including trophies earned from defeating formidable foes.

The housing system is designed to be versatile, offering a grid-based placement system with snapping options for furniture, as well as advanced modes that allow intricate arrangements by clipping and rotating objects on all three axes. Players will also have the ability to resize and recolor certain furniture models, providing a high degree of customization to reflect their personal styles.

In addition to player housing, the 'Midnight' expansion will reintroduce the region of Quel'Thalas, seamlessly integrated into the game world without loading screens, enhancing the immersive experience for players.

The 'Midnight' expansion is expected to launch in the summer of 2025, with a full reveal planned for later this year. Players eagerly await this expansion, which promises to significantly enhance the social and immersive aspects of World of Warcraft.
